Amazing place, very cozy, delicious food, friendliest staff, beautiful in winter and summer. We love it so much, were getting married there this year!

A note to those picky about having the latest furniture in the room: this is a family-run property and not everything is brand new. Some furnishings could be showing some age, but know that everything to squeaky-clean

A note for animal lovers: there is a pig, Daisy, on the property (in a closed area) that you can visit and hang with ❤️

Extremely friendly staff, amazing property, quiet with beautiful water views, very clean rooms, and the softest sheets!

The location is nice but it definitely does not make up for the poor service and very dated, not well maintained amenities and the outrageous price.

The staff there were very friendly and always willing to help. The room we stayed in was a little outdated and could really use a reno. Overall I still give the facility a 4 star as it offers a lot of activities such as skating, private trail for hiking, cross country skiing on site. It's great for kids to have fun in winter (in -27 temperature that is). We had a great time during the Christmas/new year week.

this resort is way too expensive for what it offers. We paid over 500$ for two nights. Our toilet did not work the whole weekend we were there. We were not offered any compensation nor offered an alternative to using the lobby's washroom during the hours the lobby is open, not the most practical considering it opens at 9am. They told us usually they tell guests to use the bathroom in the next cabine but since the resort was full that weekend we couldn't do that. When we mentioned it when we checked out, they did not even apologized about it. We were also told by one of the maintenance person that it happens quite often, especially in the cabin we were staying in and when it rains, so it was definitely not a surprise to them yet they didn't have any plan to solve the problem.

We were a large group staying there so we saw many of the rooms, including the honeymoon suite (which goes for over 1000$ a weekend, the same price of a luxury suite in an downtown Toronto hotel). All the rooms are very dated, all smell like humidity and mould. The room service was not great, they spent 2 minutes in the room, didn't even make the bed ... considering the price, we were expecting a lot better service.
